We focused to provide you with exceptional accommodation experiences meeting all adequate hygiene, safety, and operational standards. As the new coronavirus (COVID-19) is having a great global impact, we feel it is important to inform you of the measures and precautions we are taking to keep our facilities, staff, and guests safe and healthy.
Tholos Resort consists of 12 separate and individual units, Suites and Villas. Each one of them provides our guests all necessary standards for an independent use. There are exterior corridors leading either to the public spaces of the hotel or to the municipal road avoiding the overcrowding.
Our public facilities like the main pool area, bar and restaurant are re-arranged in capacity according to the new safety guidelines. Guests who prefer their isolation and privacy, they can use their private hot tubs or they can enjoy the dining experience in the privacy of their balcony.
The housekeeping team conducts detailed cleaning of all guest rooms and all public spaces, throughout the day. Furthermore, we carefully follow cleaning and disinfection protocols that meet or exceed industry guidelines. These protocols include:
• Time-schedule for cleaning and disinfection in all areas.
• Conspicuous placement of hand sanitizers.
• Frequent cleaning of outdoor and high touch locations.
We have established rules that, along with the above listed protocols, guarantee the well-being of our guests during their stay at Tholos Resort. These rules include:
• We advise our guests to keep a distance of 2 meters from the person next in line while approaching any point of interest (reception, bar)
• We provide a face mask for our guests
• We have reduced our restaurants’ capacity by arranging our spaces to meet the new required distances. All packaging is for one use, ecological, and the utensils used, meet the hygiene standards for the indicated temperatures.
• We adjusted our breakfast option as room-service only.
• Our guests’ are being advised to use the special hand sanitizers placed for that purpose at designated areas.
• We do not allow off-property food delivery services to avoid any health risks that may be caused from goods and/or services brought from third parties and consumed in-house
For our staff that joins the daily shifts we took the following actions:
• Our staff has been trained - according to their duties - in COVID 19 protection and prevention, appropriate use of Personal protective equipment, and implementation of emergency action plans.
• Restrictions for a limited number of people in the workplace are respected.
• We provided everyone with all recommended protective gear.
• We continue to regularly disinfect work surfaces, as well as public and back-office areas.
• We took measures so as to limit social meetings and keep a safe distance between team members (2m)
